I have always been fascinated by water and spending a week on a sailboat traveling around the British Virgin Islands was a dream come true.  I spent hours with my camera pointed to the water trying to capture fleeting moments of the ever changing sea.

Jim, our captain, showed me how to observe the wind on water. In this series of abstract images I tried to capture the movement of water as well as the wind on water.  Images in rows 1 and 3 show wind and the middle image in row 3 shows this the best.  The wind is traveling from the bottom of the image up.  The wind obscures the reflections in the water.
