Personal Favorites

Over the years I have taken tens of thousands of images.  I have images that I like a lot that don't fit well into an existing gallery on this site.  So, for the time being I have created this gallery.  There are images here that I took decades ago as well as images I shot a few weeks ago.

I've heard people say that fine art photographers need to define and brand themselves.  Although I focus on water abstracts, flower portraits and anything that has to do with the sea, I enjoy taking photographs wherever I am. 

Photography is more than documenting what I see and discovering the extraordinary in the ordinary.  It's a spiritual and emotional experience.  I feel most alive when I have a camera in hand and am exploring a new place or witnessing an event. I am so fortunate to have found a way to express how I feel about what I see.
